Installing SCCM 2012 will automatically run the SCCM “Prerequisite Check” before starting the installation.
As you know, the Win2008 feature BITS is one of the prerequisites.
Have you installed BITS but the “Prerequisite Check” tells you, that “BITS installed” is failed?
Read carefully the error description which should help you.
–> Install the IIS 6 WMI Compatibility component for IIS 7 an “Run Check” again…
Most of the IIS Configuration is done automatically from the setup… but not this one, you have to install it manually before starting the SCCM 2012 setup…
